A "one-in-a-thousand-year event": Rivers reach historic highs as federal disaster declared across West Virginia: 24 dead

Photo @Spencer_Daily
A federal disaster declaration was approved for three of the hardest-hit counties in flood-ravaged West Virginia after a historic deluge killed at least 24 people there.

The floodwaters swept away cars, cut power to thousands and trapped hundreds in a shopping center after 10 inches of rain pounded parts of the state in just 24 hours.
It also submerged a golf course, forcing the PGA to cancel the upcoming Greenbrier Classic.

Tour officials announced Saturday that the tournament, scheduled for July 7 through 10, was nixed due to the floods.

"Cancelling The Greenbrier Classic is certainly the most prudent course of action as our foremost concern is the well-being of those who are having to live through this tragic situation," PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem said in a statement.

Meanwhile, officials were still searching Saturday for missing people in Greenbrier County, the area hardest hit by the floods with 16 deaths.

Elsewhere in the state, one person died in Ohio County, another died in Jackson County, and six died in Kanawha County, the West Virginia medical examiner's office said.

The rains - so heavy they were dubbed a "one-in-a-thousand-year event" by the National Weather Service - prompted officials to put 44 out of West Virginia's 55 counties under a state of emergency, primarily in the southeastern part of the state.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency on Saturday granted a request from Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin for assistance for three heavily damaged counties: Kanawha, Greenbrier and Nicholas.

On Friday night, National Guard troops raced to build a temporary roadway in Kanawha County to rescue more than 500 people who had been stuck inside the Elkview Crossings Plaza since Thursday afternoon.

Kremlin says Turkish president ‘apologized’ over jet incident

Turkey is trying to win back regional allies amid Syria chaos

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ended asix-year rift with Israel and unexpectedly moved to mend ties with Russia, as Turkey attempts to draw a line under diplomatic confrontations that had sapped its economy and left it increasingly isolated in the region.

QUICKTAKETurkey’s Continental Divide

Erdogan sent a letter to President Vladimir Putin regretting theshooting down of a Russian combat plane in November, an incident that plunged ties between the two countries into crisis. News of the reconciliation effort came hours after Turkey and Israel on Monday agreed to repair relations damaged by a deadly maritime clash in 2010 between Israeli commandos and pro-Palestinian Turkish activists. Turkey formally signed the deal with Israel on Tuesday, according to AHaber television.

The feuds that Turkey set out to end had become intertwined. Talks with gas-rich Israel gained momentum after Turkey downed the Russian jet and Ankara sought to cut its reliance on Russian fuel. In addition to the economic benefits, the twin-track rapprochement may bolster the Turkish government, which has found itself increasingly sidelined amid attempts to end regional conflicts, especially in Syria where Moscow is now the dominant international player.

“We are taking steps to end the crisis and economic cooperation will follow,” Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim told state-run TRT television in an interview late Monday. “We will pretend the last six months never happened and keep going.” Erdogan will speak to Putin by phone on Wednesday, according to the Turkish leader’s media office.

Investors Cheer

Russia and Turkey will resume investments and cooperation in tourism, said Yildirim.

Investors cheered both steps, which pave the way for Israeli gas imports and the lifting of Russian economic sanctions that have been especially damaging for Turkey’s tourism industry. The number of Russian tourists visiting Turkey fell 92 percent in May compared to a year ago, according to official data published Tuesday.

The shares of Israeli and Turkish energy companies advanced on Monday. Turkish Airlines, the nation’s flagship carrier, rose 3.9 percent, regaining some ground from a 20-percent drop this year as Russian trade curbs and a series of attacks by Islamic State militants in Ankara and Istanbul weighed on business.

“Two big foreign policy openings were implemented on a single day,” said Ozdem Sanberk, a former ambassador to London and Brussels and currently the president of International Strategic Research Organization, an Ankara think-tank. “The same incentive is valid for Turkey in both cases: Turkey wants to stop being alone.”

Erdogan’s tough approach toward Israel after the 2010 fall-out won him plaudits in much of the Muslim world. From Egypt to Algeria, the Turkish leader received a hero’s welcome wherever he traveled, but those days are long gone.

His close ally, Mohamed Mursi, was removed from power in Egypt by the military in 2013, and Erdogan saw his foreign policy hit a dead-end in Syria. There, President Bashar al-Assad with Russian military support has taken the upper hand in the country’s civil war, pushing the rebel groups Turkey backs onto the defensive.

Turkey is ready to develop economic ties with Egypt despite its opposition to Mursi’s ouster, Yildirim said.

“There is no obstacle to developing economic relations,” he said. “Our businessmen and investors can pay mutual visits and prepare the ground for normalization. Even visits at the ministerial level may start. We are ready for this without any reservations.”

Kurdish Conflict

Turkey is also fighting autonomy-seeking Kurdish militants after a three-year lull, and the economy has been stretched by the arrival of nearly 3 million refugees fleeing violence in Iraq and Syria.

Trade between Russia and Turkey, which had topped $30 billion annually, plunged after the jet downing. Putin called the attack a “treacherous stab in the back” of Russian forces bombing Islamic State and other militants in Syria and demanded an apology.

The two countries differed in their interpretation of the letter from Erdogan.

“The head of the Turkish state expressed his sympathy and deep condolences to the family of the Russian pilot who was killed, and he said sorry,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on a conference call Monday. A statement from the Turkish presidential office didn’t refer to Erdogan’s remarks as an apology, while saying that Turkey and Russia agreed to take necessary steps without delay to improve bilateral relations. It cited Erdogan as saying to the family of the Russian pilot that “I share their pain and offer my condolences to them. May they excuse us.”

Gas Exports

“Apology or not, Turkey relayed its regrets and Russians took it as an apology. The step that Russia was waiting for was taken,” Sanberk said. “The first thing Russia will expect from Turkey is a change in its Syrian policy,” he said. “Russia wants to be a main play-maker in the Middle East along with the U.S. Turkish Russian ties will improve to the extent Turkey doesn’t stand in the way of Russian demands.”

Yildirim on Tuesday said Turkey wasn’t planning to pay compensation for the dead pilot, according to the state-run Anadolu Agency. He had told TRT television on Monday that Turkey was ready to pay compensation if needed.

Turkey was once Israel’s closest Muslim ally, their partnership based on strong military and economic ties. Relations began to fray after Erdogan took power in Turkey in 2003 at the head of an Islamist-oriented government, and his rancorous criticism of Israel’s 2008 Gaza Strip incursion created serious strains.

Diplomatic ties were severed after the 2010 confrontation at sea, which led to the deaths of 10 Turks. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu apologized at the urging of visiting President Barack Obama in 2013, but that didn’t blossom into reconciliation. It took Turkey’s confrontation with Russia to turn the tide.

USA TODAY: Mateen - Islamic Soldier

Night Is Coming, When No One Can Work

Job Chapter 12

English Standard Version (ESV)

22 He uncovers the deeps out of darkness
    and brings deep darkness to light.
23 23 He makes nations great, and he destroys them;
    he enlarges nations, and leads them away.
24 24 He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth
    and makes them wander in a trackless waste.
25 25 They grope in the dark without light,
    and he makes them stagger like a drunken man.

Job Chapter 24

English Standard Version (ESV)

13 13 “There are those who rebel against the light,
    who are not acquainted with its ways,
    and do not stay in its paths.
14 14 The murderer rises before it is light,
    that he may kill the poor and needy,
    and in the night he is like a thief.
15 15 The eye of the adulterer also waits for the twilight,
    saying, ‘No eye will see me’;
    and he veils his face.
16 16 In the dark they dig through houses;
    by day they shut themselves up;
    they do not know the light.
17 17 For deep darkness is morning to all of them;
    for they are friends with the terrors of deep darkness.

John 1English Standard Version (ESV)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life,[a] and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light.

The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him.

John 8English Standard Version (ESV)

12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 9English Standard Version (ESV)

Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him. We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

John 12English Standard Version (ESV)

44 And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. 45 And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. 46 I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. 47 If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. 49 For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me.”

ACLU Says Christians to Blame for Orlando Attack

Charisma News

Attorneys for the ACLU have blamed Christians and conservatives for creating the culture that led to the Islamist attack at an Orlando nightclub that caters to homosexuals.
The Islamist attack on The Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, was too much to bear for one ACLU staff attorney, who vented Sunday morning about the terror attack.
But he didn't blame Muslims, or even radical Islam. No, he placed the blame squarely on the shoulders of Christians who oppose the LGBT agenda.
Chase Strangio, one of the liberal civil rights organization's staff attorneys for its LGBT & HIV Project, works on "impact litigation, as well as legislative and administrative advocacy, on behalf of LGBTQ people and people living with HIV across the United States." His area of expertise, according to the ACLU, is the treatment of "transgender and gender non-conforming people" who are detained by law enforcement officials.
Sunday morning, he unleashed a tweet storm about the Orlando attack in which he savaged Christians and conservatives. He first slammed a tweet from U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), urging residents of Central Florida to donate blood by pointing out that homosexuals and transgender people are not allowed to donate.
Then, he made these tweets, in short order:
The Christian Right has introduced 200 anti-LGBT bills in the last six months and people blaming Islam for this. No. #PulseNightclub
You know what is gross - your thoughts and prayers and Islamophobia after you created this anti-queer climate.
My queer trans Muslim family knows that our fight is against the hateful people in power right here in *this* country. #PulseNightclub
He also directed his anger at Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, and Republican presidential nominee-in-waiting Donald Trump. Many of his tweets included profanity.
According to TheDailyCaller, however, Strangio wasn't the only ACLU attorney to go off about the attack. Eunice Hyon Min Rho, an attorney who specializes in election and religious liberty law, took the opportunity to attack Republican lawmakers who were sponsors of the First Amendment Defense Act, legislation the ACLU considers anti-LGBT.

Orlando - Land of Gold - Land of Lust

Bible > ESV > Lamentations 4

 Lamentations 4

English Standard Version

The Holy Stones Lie Scattered

1How the gold has grown dim,
how the pure gold is changed!
The holy stones lie scattered
at the head of every street.

2The precious sons of Zion,
worth their weight in fine gold,
how they are regarded as earthen pots,
the work of a potter’s hands!

3Even jackals offer the breast;
they nurse their young,
but the daughter of my people has become cruel,
like the ostriches in the wilderness.

4The tongue of the nursing infant sticks
to the roof of its mouth for thirst;
the children beg for food,
but no one gives to them.

5Those who once feasted on delicacies
perish in the streets;
those who were brought up in purple
embrace ash heaps.

6For the chastisementa of the daughter of my people has been greater
than the punishmentb of Sodom,
which was overthrown in a moment,
and no hands were wrung for her.c

7Her princes were purer than snow,
whiter than milk;
their bodies were more ruddy than coral,
the beauty of their formd was like sapphire.e

8Now their face is blacker than soot;
they are not recognized in the streets;
their skin has shriveled on their bones;
it has become as dry as wood.

9Happier were the victims of the sword
than the victims of hunger,
who wasted away, pierced
by lack of the fruits of the field.

10The hands of compassionate women
have boiled their own children;
they became their food
during the destruction of the daughter of my people.

11The LORD gave full vent to his wrath;
he poured out his hot anger,
and he kindled a fire in Zion
that consumed its foundations.

12The kings of the earth did not believe,
nor any of the inhabitants of the world,
that foe or enemy could enter
the gates of Jerusalem.

13This was for the sins of her prophets
and the iniquities of her priests,
who shed in the midst of her
the blood of the righteous.

14They wandered, blind, through the streets;
they were so defiled with blood
that no one was able to touch
their garments.

15“Away! Unclean!” people cried at them.
“Away! Away! Do not touch!”
So they became fugitives and wanderers;
people said among the nations,
“They shall stay with us no longer.”

16The LORD himselff has scattered them;
he will regard them no more;
no honor was shown to the priests,
no favor to the elders.

17Our eyes failed, ever watching
vainly for help;
in our watching we watched
for a nation which could not save.

18They dogged our steps
so that we could not walk in our streets;
our end drew near; our days were numbered,
for our end had come.

19Our pursuers were swifter
than the eagles in the heavens;
they chased us on the mountains;
they lay in wait for us in the wilderness.

20The breath of our nostrils, the LORD’s anointed,
was captured in their pits,
of whom we said, “Under his shadow
we shall live among the nations.”

21Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom,
you who dwell in the land of Uz;
but to you also the cup shall pass;
you shall become drunk and strip yourself bare.

22The punishment of your iniquity, O daughter of Zion, is accomplished;
he will keep you in exile no longer;g
but your iniquity, O daughter of Edom, he will punish;
he will uncover your sins.

Florida: America's Jihad Playground

"Gun-grabbers and bleeding hearts, wake up and stop playing Mickey Mouse politics. The problem isn't weapons. It's the weaponized Muslim hate-mongers and jihad enablers operating openly in our midst."

Michelle Malkin

The home of the "Happiest Place on Earth" has been breeding killer jihadists and Muslim zealots for years.

Omar Mateen, the cold-blooded mass murderer who gunned down 49 people at an Orlando gay nightclub and wounded 53 more before police took him out late Sunday, may have worked alone. But he operated in the larger context of a teeming, terror-coddling paradise.

While tourists from around the world soak up sunshine and dreams at Disney World, Islamic extremism festers around them.

Schools: The Muslim Students Association, founded by the radical Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood whose stated purpose is to wage "grand jihad" on America, is active at the publicly funded University of Central Florida in Orlando. The group defiantly brought un-indicted terror co-conspirator Siraj Wahhaj to campus. He's the black Muslim convert and inflammatory imam tied by federal prosecutors to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and New York City landmarks bombing plots.

Wahhaj served as a character witness for convicted terror mastermind Omar Abdel Rahman (the Blind Sheik), called for replacement of America's "constitutional government with a caliphate" and roots for our nation to "crumble" so Muslims can take over. UCF funded a Muslims "da'wa" (conversion) seminar and with an endowment by the Saudi-supported International Institute of Islamic Thought sought to create an Islamic Studies chair to "help the Ummah regain its intellectual and cultural identity and re-affirm its presence as a dynamic civilization."

The IIIT, also a Muslim Brotherhood affiliate, donated at least $50,000 to a "think tank" run by Sami al-Arian that served as a front group for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. While al-Arian, a Muslim Brotherhood member dating back to the 1980s, served as a computer science professor at Tampa's University of South Florida, he toured the country raising money for terrorism overseas. Investigative reporters and the feds caught al-Arian on tape inciting his attendees against, America, Israel "and their allies until death." The left-wing academic pleaded guilty to a terror-fundraising conspiracy charge in 2006.

Al-Arian brought Palestinian-born Ramadan Shalah to teach at USF and head his "think tank" for a spell. Shalah left the school in 1995 and resurfaced as head of Syria's Islamic Jihad. He remains one of the FBI's most wanted indicted terrorist fugitives.

Apologist officials at USF, first exposed by counter-jihad researcher Steve Emerson as America's "Jihad U," turned a blind eye to the terror helpers among them.

Mosques: Mateen's homicidal hatred for gays didn't exist in a vacuum. Mateen's neighborhood mosque in nearby Fort Pierce, Florida, was also the house of worship of Moner Abu-Salha, an American jihad recruiter and suicide bomber who blew himself up in Syria last year. The Palm Beach Post reported this week that Abu-Salha had posted videos of an imam's death-to-gays rant on Facebook.

Townhall

Columnists  Michelle Malkin

FLORIDA

Marcus  Dwayne Robertson (a.k.a. Abu Taubah), a former U.S. Marine turned career criminal and bodyguard to the Blind Sheik, headed another mosque, Masjid Al-Ihsaam, in Orlando. He also founded the Orlando-based Fundamental Islamic Knowledge Seminary in 2008 and railed against gays and non-Muslims. Mateen was enrolled in Taubah's course.

Just weeks before the Pulse nightclub massacre, another Orlando mosque, the Husseini Islamic Center, hosted a guest imam who had preached that "gays must die" and that Muslims should not "be embarrassed about this ... let's get rid of them now."

Also in Orlando, the al-Rahman mosque led by Imam Muhammad Musri made headlines in 2010 after holding a fundraiser for the terrorist group Hamas.

In Tampa, Sami al-Arian founded the al-Qassam mosque named after an infamous Syrian terrorist. Last fall, the mosque -- owned by the North American Islamic Trust, an un-indicted terror co-conspiracy organization -- invited an exiled Muslim Brotherhood instigator and Hamas cheerleader to speak.

In South Florida, the Darul Uloom Institute mosque in Pembroke Pines counted al-Qaida jihad pilot Adnan el-Shukrijumah (allegedly killed in a raid in Waziristan by the Pakistan military in 2014) and convicted jihadist Imran Mandhai -- who plotted with fellow mosque attendees Hakki Aksoy and Shueyb Jokhan to blow up power stations, synagogues and a National Guard armory -- among its worshipers.

Shukrijumah's brother still lives in Broward County near the Darul Uloom mosque and has posted social media videos condemning "moderate" Muslims, blaming 9/11 on Jews and promoting the caliphate. Darul Uloom's imam is a gay-bashing, Christian-bashing, Jew-bashing bigot who has publicly stated that at least one of the 9/11 hijackers prayed at his mosque.

Jails: Florida's prisons and penitentiaries are unfettered cesspools for jihad radicalization and recruitment. Convicted al-Qaida dirty bomb plotter Jose Padilla (a.k.a. Abdullah al Mujahir) was introduced to Islam while serving time for an armed road rage incident in Sunrise, Florida. The above-named Abu Taubah radicalized nearly 40 fellow inmates while behind bars on a weapons conviction. He was freed last summer by U.S. District Judge Gregory Presnell after time served despite prosecutors' pleas to add 10 years to his sentence based on enhanced terror charges.

Gun-grabbers and bleeding hearts, wake up and stop playing Mickey Mouse politics. The problem isn't weapons. It's the weaponized Muslim hate-mongers and jihad enablers operating openly in our midst.

Why can't Obama just the truth about the Orlando attack and radical Islam?

Why can't Obama just tell Americans the truth about the Orlando attack and radical Islam?

by Pete Hoekstra
FoxNews.com
June 13, 2016

The massacre in Orlando by a self-proclaimed Islamist terrorist removes any doubt that the West or its allies have contained the radical jihadi movement.

You wouldn't know it by listening to President Obama. From the Oval Office on Monday, he remained unable to utter the words "radical Islam."

Yet, early Sunday morning the shooter pledged allegiance to ISIS and reportedly yelled "Allahu Akbar" before opening fire. He murdered and injured more than 100 innocents in the worst Islamic terror assault on U.S. soil since 9/11.

Family and friends are suffering. Their lives will never be the same. The worst aspect is that political leadership could have helped to prevent the attack by addressing the violent Islamist threat by its rightful nature.

As was the case in Paris, Brussels, San Bernardino or any of the other murders in the name of Allah against the West the during his time in office, the president will not identify "jihad" as even a possible motivation. He instead talks about gun control, identity politics and thought crimes.

Americans know that it was terror. They know that it was hate. They also know that is so much more than that.

For weeks ISIS has threatened brutal attacks throughout the world during the month of Ramadan. The Investigative Project on Terrorism has tracked the threat streams along with the intelligence community.

What were suspect Omar Mateen's interactions with various groups in the U.S. and internationally? Who were the groups, and what was the nature of those interactions?

Law enforcement officials had Mateen on their radar. Why did they stop monitoring him? Could it have had anything to do with the suffocating political correctness – in which "workplace violence" and "man-caused disasters" replaced jihadist terror – over the last few years?

The echo chamber of Islamist front organizations such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Muslim American Society and the Muslim Public Affairs Council facilitate the administration's obfuscation. They rush to condemn the attacks to American audiences, yet they are the worst enablers of the attacks themselves.

CAIR, for example, routinely pressures American Muslims to not cooperate with law enforcement. White House records reveals that leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood regularly meet with officials at the highest levels of government to influence stewards of foreign policy into minimizing the threat from Islamic terror organizations.

The president may only have seven more months in office, but he needs to provide the country with a new strategy. It cannot continue down the same path of political correctness, and it cannot wait until a new president assumes office to reevaluate.

The evidence of the West losing the struggle is overwhelming. Globally, the number of victims has increased to unprecedented levels. Millions of refugees flood Europe from the Middle East and Africa, Islamists behead and inflict genocide against religious minorities and ISIS has created a caliphate in Iraq and Syria, as well as in Libya.

Orlando is such a painful illustration that the U.S. is not beyond its reach.

American leadership needs to engage in a frank discussion about where we go from here. It needs to identify and implement a policy against jihadist terror that transcends elections, including the upcoming November ballot. It can no longer punt on the issue and hope that nothing bad happens under its watch.

Discerning the threat is not difficult. Identifying its true nature seems impossible to current leaders. Developing effective counter strategies is no easy task, but it needs to start today.

Americans will not tolerate any more carnage. Obama said in his remarks to the nation today that the attack in Orlando could have occurred in any U.S. community.

He needs to finally understand that there is something dreadfully wrong with that.

A Clash of Cultures and Civilizations

LA MARZULLI
We are at war, even though our president, who can’t utter the words Radical Islam, won’t acknowledge the obvious.
Of course Bush never declared war either and that’s the problem… Bush actually called Islam: That great religion of peace.
I think it’s fair to say that was double-speak as the Bush’s are in bed with The Royal house of Saud. It’s always about oil…
Bush & Saud
The fact is we are at war and have been since the events of 911. Oh by the way, where are those missing 28 pages that just might implicate the Saudi’s… never mind.
http://helpfreetheearth.com/news750_911.html
Last night another Jihadi struck, this time in Paris. Note the all to familiar Allah Akbar, that  we are all getting tired of hearing.
‘ISIS Fighter’ Stabs, Kills Paris Cop, Wife: A source says he shouted “Allahu akhbar!” before the murders.
http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/isis-fighter-stabs-kills-paris-cop-wife
However, the Jihadi’s will not win this war. The American people will not be defeated by their cowardice no matter how many nightclub shootings there are. (Breaking news is stating that Omar Mateen, the shooter in Orlando, was gay.)
The Donald nailed it in a speech yesterday! His speech was, in my opinion, a game changer!  Finally someone is saying, without fear of reprisal from a politically correct media, what many of us have thought for years! Stop immigration from Muslim countries that practice, export, condone, implement Jihad and Radical ideology… period! Bully for the Donald! Here’s the link.
http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/06/13/horowitz-donald-trumps-speech-game-changer/
Here’s a link to a wacky Imam who stated that killing gays was a sign of compassion. http://www.clarionproject.org/videos/imam-invited-florida-says-it-compassionate-kill-gays This is so twisted I don’t know where to begin. If this is really so then perhaps the Jihadi’s should start with the perverts in Afghanistan who dress their little  boys up like girls and then bugger them. Kill the gays but bugger the boys? How does that work? http://www.truthrevolt.org/commentary/glazov-boys-taliban
 It didn’t take long for the newly elected Muslim mayor to begin to legislate morality. This is a step toward full-blown Sharia. I wonder if Margaret Thatcher would wear a burka? The Brits are reaping the wonders of Multiculturalism. Who decides what is a sexy woman in advertising ? This is nothing short of fascism. Papers please.
http://dailycaller.com/2016/06/13/londons-muslim-mayor-bans-sexy-women-in-advertisements/
There is a clash of cultures, of civilizations. It’s not going away and America must be prepared to take steps to ensure that our way of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness does not wind up on the dung-heap of history because the politicians refused to address the problem. Radical Islam is not going to go away any time soon. Here’s some questions that we need to ask ourselves.
1. Should be ban the building of mosques in this country? Mosques seem to be breeding ground for this kind of home-grown terrorism.
2. More gun legislation is not the answer as how would that have stopped Omar Mateen from carrying out his massacre?
3. The Obama administration is letting in 100 Syrian refugees per day. If only 1% are radicalized…. do the math.
4. Trump renews his call for a temporary ban. I agree.
5. In the wake of the Orlando shooter’s link-up with ISIS, we should declare war on this group and annihilate them.
6. Gun free zones should be immediately replaced with people who are carrying. If just one person at the club in Orlando had been packing the body count may have been significantly altered. If Jihadi’s know people are armed they might rethink their plans.
7. People are afraid to say anything due to being branded a bigot in a politically correct world. Time to call Radical Islam by what it is.
8. If there are moderate muslims they need to be engaged in steering their wayward brothers and sisters from Jihad. Of course I have little hope this will take place as polls show that many muslims want Sharia law which is incompatible with our constitution.

Regarding the Pope’s confirmation, Nick Hall said in a statement: “That His Holiness would choose to speak into this historic day is a testament to the urgency and the need for followers of Jesus to unite in prayer for our nation and our world. We are humbled and honored by his involvement and are eager to share his message with the crowd that gathers at Together 2016.”
According to a press release from  PRNewswire, more than 1,000 churches nationwide have already pledged to attend, and there will be 8,000 service opportunities within a 100-mile radius of Washington, D.C. during the week before and after Together 2016.
On their website, Together 2016 states they are “taking a stand against division”, noting:
“Race. Class. Politics. Social media. Religion. The millennial generation is the most cause-driven in history—but our causes put us at odds and we create enemies of each other. The Church is paying a price. Young people associate faith with arguing and politicking. The message that Jesus loves us and offers a reset is getting lost in the noise. Jesus directly challenged a culture of division. He prayed we would be one—one family, one body. And He told us to love our enemies. Everyone loves their friends; it’s when we love those who aren’t like us that the world takes note. It’s time to come together around Jesus in a counter-cultural moment of unity and love for each other. “
